Thousands of Long Islanders amplify their charitable giving through the Long Island Community Foundation, the community foundation for the region. This year, LICF is offering generous neighbors three ways to make Giving Tuesday and the entire giving season.

At a time when busy people are overwhelmed by appeals for donations, LICF’s three options help Long Islanders make sure that they are making a real difference by helping nonprofits that educate children, protect the environment, feed the hungry, and much more.

Together, LICF and donors can have an impact on causes,people, and places. Here are the three quick ways:

SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL FUND: Can’t decide which local organization to support? Choose our Annual Fund and help respond to the Island’s most urgent problems. Or, if you do have a donor-advised fund with us, look for the Annual Fund tab in MyNYCT. Either way, help us turn more great ideas into projects that make life better on Long Island. You choose how we put your gift to work, supporting children, arts and culture, or Long Island’s most urgent needs.
