Feed the Need Campaign
The Coronavirus is impacting everyone across the country and globe, but it will have a particularly devastating impact on vulnerable populations. Long Island’s East End is home to a high percentage of low-income workers and others at risk, yet they are often invisible, and their needs overlooked.
The All for the East End Fund was established at the Long Island Community Foundation (LICF) to support community-based nonprofit organizations in the towns of Riverhead, Southampton, East Hampton, Southold, and Shelter Island. In partnership with All for the East End, an independent 501(c)(3) organization, whose mission is to raise funds and awareness for East End needs and showcase the nonprofits that make the East End a better place to live.
LICF will accept emailed proposals from nonprofit organizations serving one or more of the five East End towns for programs addressing food insecurity and essential human service needs. The number and value of grant awards will be determined based upon the funding available.
Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis and an expedited process so that recipient organizations will receive funds in a timely fashion.
Marit Molin, director of Hamptons Art Camp and Outreach, is providing communities in need in the wealthy town during the pandemic thanks in part to a grant from our AFTEE – Feed the Need Campaign! See it on GMA, here.
