We have a new website!

Since inception, The Long Island Community Foundation has operated as an affiliate of The New York Community Trust.

As part of our centennial celebrations, we are creating a single, unified organization to more powerfully advocate for our region with one voice.

We will still maintain our physical offices in Long Island with the same dedicated staff who will continue to honor and build upon our relationships with local nonprofits and communities.

Contributing to our Community Needs Fund
helps improve life on Long Island!

The Long Island Community Needs Fund pools money from people like you to make a big impact on the critical needs of Long Islanders. Each year, we determine the most pressing issues facing our region and use this fund to address them. In 2021, we are helping communities tackle challenges that have been exacerbated by the pandemic. A gift to the Community Needs Fund is an easy and effective way to help dozens of organizations doing good locally.
