Melville, NY (February 28, 2019) – The Long Island Community Foundation has named Patricia (Tricia) Marcin of Farrell Fritz, Chair of its Board of Directors. Tricia was elected to the board in 2010 and has served as vice chair for the last four years.

Patricia C. Marcin is a Partner who concentrates in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and taxation. Her practice includes the preparation of wills and trusts and other estate planning documents and all phases of the administration of estates, including the analysis and review of estate and fiduciary income tax issues and administrative and legal issues in each estate.

Marc Wong, Senior Vice President-Wealth Management for The Empire Group at UBS Financial Services Inc. and a LICF Board of Advisor since 2015, has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Board.

As a managing partner of The Empire Group, Marc works closely with clients and third-party specialists to develop comprehensive financial plans to suit each client's specific goals. In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) he has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation to assist clients with their risk management needs.
