Help every Long Islander be counted: Become a 2020 Census Taker
According to the Census Bureau, many areas of Long Island are considered hard-to-count, making our region susceptible to undercounts. This can have dire consequences when it comes to Federal Funding for our schools, local infrastructure, social services, and more. Watch the video above to learn more about working part-time to ensure that every person on Long Island gets counted and find more information about available jobs (many of which pay $17/hour minimum) online at 2020census.gov/jobs.

With a donor-advised fund through the Long Island Community Foundation (LICF), you can shape the very same community that helped shape you. We vet local charities throughout Long Island to ensure all funding is used effectively in the areas you personally choose. And under the new tax laws, a donor-advised fund may be the best way to maximize your tax savings today and years after. Now that’s what we mean by richer returns on your charitable giving.
